Artist Sstatment

I have always had an interest in art. Art is a way for me to express my creativity in a professional environment. It started when I was  a young kid watching my dad paint, draw, work with leather, and love the art world. Sadly, from day one as I grew up, I was always told that I could not make any money with art. But then, when  I was working at a bar in town and I was helping out doing the advertising that we used in the bar for shows and days of events, I realized  that I like that kind of work, and so I decided to go back to school.

I really like to create something new and show that I am not a one-trick pony. I have found that a balance is the best for me. The more I work on myself and stay balanced mentally and physically,  the better I work. I also take inspiration from my life, such as going to Burningman and other events. It not only inspires me in new ways but it also recharges my creativity.

I think that staying relevant in the community is important. When you are reaching other people, knowing more about other people, all that is key to become a great designer.

I have found that I truly like architecture  design more than I thought I would. I like to take something old and forgotten and make it new.  As an artist I focus strongly on concept design and development in many different contexts and media.

As a graphic designer my design work has the same focus on communication and attention to detail. I seek to satisfy and create new design ideas by combining different techniques into something new. My flow of design is simple details that enables me to catch the viewer’s eye. I create unique shapes of detail combined with a theme to inspire my work. Depending on the project, some of my work involves more detail for an abstract entertainment for the viewer.

I have studied Romanticism, Impressionism and Expressionism, and they get inspired by the development of abstract art. This art in my opinion the most interesting art movements and the most satisfying to my eyes.

I have the passion and motivation to succeed in this industry, and with my competitive nature I am determined to work as hard as possible to prove that I can be as good as anyone else. I will not let anyone outwork me,  am trying to be the citizen of the world. That is why I submit my artworks to various competitions in different countries. Process, progress, and constant improvement are the key ideas in my design. While craftsmanship is extremely important to me, I try hard to produce art which is not just a collection of “pretty images”.

Also, I believe that art is about communication and making connections between people. Art moves people, brings them joy, makes them think but most of all art is fun. Digital art has the potential to be used in an amazing number of applications. That is not to say that traditional art is outdated and useless. Quite the contrary, my digital art and design is only possible from a strong foundation in traditional art forms. I have been a practicing artist over the years and  I have exhibited my work in both solo and group exhibitions threw the years.

I graduated with an Associate in graphic communication from TMCC (Truckee Meadows Community College) may ,2017,  and I have a Bachelors Degree in graphic design from the University of Nevada, Reno may, 2021.
